Analysis: After defeating the Saints in overtime Sunday, the Vikings are holding only a light workout to begin the week, as the team faces a quick turnaround for Saturday's divisional-round matchup with the 49ers. So long as Diggs returns to practice in some fashion Wednesday and/or Thursday, he'll likely enter the game without an injury designation.

Held in check by Saints

Diggs caught two of three targets for 19 yards and carried twice for eight additional yards during Sunday's 26-20 wild-card win over the Saints.

Analysis: Diggs saw his fair share of defensive coverage and struggled to get free against a talented New Orleans secondary. He didn't draw many targets and did little with the ones he did secure, recording a long gain of 10 yards on five touches. Still, Diggs converted a couple of big third downs and helped his team pull off an improbable road upset. He'll face another tough matchup next Saturday against the 49ers, but he should be involved nonetheless.

Lone bright spot in loss

Diggs caught three of four targets for 57 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 23-10 loss to the Packers. He also threw an incomplete pass on a failed trick play.

Analysis: Diggs gave his team a 10-3 lead with a 21-yard touchdown in the second quarter, but it was all downhill from there, as Green Bay scored the next 20 points. He easily led the Vikings in receiving yards, as no teammate finished with more than 31. The 26-year-old receiver has 1,130 yards and six touchdowns heading into the Week 17 finale against Chicago, with half of those touchdowns coming in Week 6 against the Eagles.

Contributes 76 receiving yards

Diggs caught four of six targets for 76 yards and rushed once for four yards during Sunday's 39-10 win over the Chargers.

Analysis: Diggs led the team in targets, averaging 19.0 yards per catch thanks largely to his long gain of 46 yards. He could have had an even better stat line had the game remained competitive, but five turnovers from the home team greatly affected the game flow. Still, Diggs went over the 1,000-yard mark for the season and should be busier in next Monday's pivotal game against the Packers.

Targeted nine times

Diggs hauled in six of his nine targets for 92 yards in the team's Week 14 win over the Lions.

Analysis: Diggs logged his second consecutive game with nine targets, hogging 31 percent of the team's total catchable passes. In addition to the volume, he recorded the game's longest play from scrimmage on a 44-yard reception just before halftime. Diggs secured four of nine targets for 25 yards in the Vikings' 37-30 loss to the Seahawks on Monday. He also rushed once for 27 yards.

Analysis: Diggs was once again the recipient of plenty of extra defensive attention with Adam Thielen (hamstring) sidelined for the third straight game, and he was the intended receiver on a Kirk Cousins interception on the first play of the fourth quarter. Analysis: Diggs had his lone target of the first half called back for a penalty, so he was a blank slate heading into the second half. The Vikings did well to get him into rhythm early and, though fans might have questioned why Diggs was being given such generous cushions, he showed why midway through the fourth quarter when he burned the secondary on a double move for a 54-yard touchdown. Analysis: The Vikings featured a run-heavy gameplan against the Cowboys' tough pass D, which led to low usage for Diggs and the receiving options not named Dalvin Cook.
